Williamsburg and Greenpoint Bike Ride

Williamsburg and Greenpoint Bike Ride

We see bikes as a means to connect people with their communities--and we'd like to start by introducing you to ours. These days, everybody throws around the Brooklyn brand, but Brooklyn is genuinely so much a part of who we are that our bikes are named for its streets, streets we traverse daily. On this ride, you'll see the diversity of our city (and you'll only be going a few miles!) and get a sense of our culture by eating what we eat, shopping where we shop, and taking in the sites and sounds that surround us. (And this ride isn't just for visitors! If you live in another part of Brooklyn, this is an easy and fun way to get to know Williamsburg/Greenpoint while avoiding the seriously trendy spots.)

Little Mountain to Waterfront Shopping Ride in Vancouver

Little Mountain to Waterfront Shopping Ride in Vancouver

Vancouver boasts lots of shopping hot spots for tourists and locals alike. For the more discerning shopper, some of the most unique and local boutiques are found in Gastown and along the stretch of South Main, otherwise known as SoMa and Little Mountain. Main Street is also THE PLACE for vintage lovers, with more second hand stores than anywhere else in the city.

Botany, Beer and Badgers by Bike

Botany, Beer and Badgers by Bike

Get ready to visit the iconic places on Madison's Isthmus that make it a very special place. The city seduces you with green and blue spaces, premium craft beer at jaw dropping prices and Midwestern niceness. As you ride on the Capitol Square and University, we dare you to count the number of badgers you see including a famous one in the Capitol.

Hoppy New Year, Boston!

Hoppy New Year, Boston!

The Boston Brewing Company (Sam Adams) put Boston on the beer map in the late 1980s, and regional powerhouse Long Trail followed not long after.  Lesser known Cambridge Brewing Company also started in the late 1980s, and went on to influence countless local startups such as Vermont darlings Hill Farmstead.  And while the Boston beer scene largely languished during the the late 90s and 2000s, it has once again awoken and begun to flourish, with vibrant and daring beers coming from downtown and the immediate north.

Left Bank Biking in Boston

Left Bank Biking in Boston

You've heard of Boston. But across the river is Cambridge and Somerville, Boston's "Left Bank." Of course that name references Paris' Left Bank or Rive Gauche which refers to the southern bank of the Seine. But more importantly the Left Bank of Paris was the Paris of artists, writers, philosophers, and more. Similarly, there is a high number of artists and writers in Cambridge and Somerville. This route will be a tour of the artistic side of the city.

Artabout in Minneapolis

Artabout in Minneapolis

Artabout is a curated arts route exploring art museums, artist studios, and art events around Minneapolis. The route takes you on a scenic ride starting along the Mississippi River where you'll cross the renowned Stone Arch Bridge, see part of the University of Minnesota campus, ride through popular neighborhoods such as Uptown and Northeast, and experience parts of our lovely Midtown Greenway and Cedar Lake bike trail. Along the route, you'll explore a variety of arts stops ranging from renovated warehouse buildings converted into galleries and artist studios to an outdoor arts sculpture garden. I enjoy each of the highlighted stops for their uniqueness in the Minneapolis arts scene and I volunteer at a few of the organizations which is a fun opportunity to meet like-minded people and help support the arts community.
